Day 01 Airport – Kumai – Rimba Lodge (L, D)
On arrival in Pangkalan Bun airport, meeting service with our tour guide then direct transfer to Kumai, Onboard, crossing Kumai river in approximately 15 minutes to reach Sekonyer river, then cruise up Sekonyer river to reach National Park. Lunch will be served on board by our own cook. At 16.30 we continue our tour to observe Proboscis monkeys along the riverbanks. Proboscis monkeys are an endemic monkey that can be seen only in Borneo. Direct transfer to Rimba Lodge for check in. Dinner on board and Overnight Rimba Lodge.

Day 02 Rimba Lodge – Pasalat Camp - Camp Leaky – Rimba Lodge (B, L, D)
After breakfast, proceed up the river to Pasalat Camp, here you will be hiking up on the board walk for 800 Meters and 200 meters you will walk on the ground. In this camp you will have chance to planting endemic fruit trees for orangutan and this is also the carbon offset program. This program supports the national park to replanting the trees around the ex-forest fire areas and to spread up the fruit trees for the animals in this park. When the tree grows up, the trees will do photosynthesis. From this process the tree will produce the Oxygen, and the Oxygen is the payment to all the Carbon we produce in our whole life (payment of the carbon). Return back to the houseboat then boating up direct to Camp Leakey. Lunch will provide on board. On arrival in Camp Leakey, you will visit IC (Information Center) to see all work of DR. Birute Galdikas while she studies the orangutan here start from 1971 until today. Enjoy your time until 14.00, afterward continue trekking up into the forest to see orangutan feeding, enjoy the time till 16.00 back to the boat then boating down to Pondok Ambung. If the time permitted before dinner you will trekking into the forest for 2 hours to see the nocturnal animals like Tarsiers, tarantulas, etc. back to the houseboat. Dinner on board and overnight in Rimba Lodge.

Day 03 Rimba Lodge - Pondok Tangguy – Tanjung Harapan Village – Tanjung Harapan Camp – Rimba Lodge. (B, L, D)
After breakfast, boating down to reach Pondok Tanggui, the second rehabilitation center for the orangutan. Visit the Orangutan feeding 09.00 AM, enjoy your time while take some pictures. Then at 10.00 AM return back to the houseboat and continue boating down direct to Tanjung Harapan village to see the Malayan settlement activities in the Afternoon. Lunch will provide on board then cross to Tanjung Harapan Camp to see the last orangutan feeding at 15.00 you will stay until 16.00 pm. Back to the boat and boating down directly to Rimba Lodge. Dinner on board and overnight in Rimba Lodge.

Day 04 Rimba Lodge – Kumai – Airport (B)
After breakfast, boating down to Kumai then transfer to Pangkalan bun Airport for your next destination. Tour End

ACCOMMODATIONS
All participants will stay in small hotels, guesthouses, lodge, local house and on house boat. In some cases you have an options to stay variety of finest hotel. These will vary from place to palce but in all cases the accommodation will usually be owned and operated by local people. This way, your money will be directly reach the local people of the place you are visiting and not large corporations. Your money will also suport us to gain alternative income for the local people and help to protect their tradition.

As your trip to the Dayak village you will stay in the Long House or local house, all accommodation really simple as this is part of your adventure. you will learn and feel their daily life. Learn their dances, cultures and traditions.


FOOD
You will receive daily breakfast and refreshments en route. You will accompanied by a cook (Orangutan Tour & Dayak Tour) who will serve fresh food for you as for lunches and dinners are all include.


TOUR GUIDES
Our guide’s knowledge about spots is profound and experienced. Our guide team are a local people as our main goals to helping in contribution of their income.


INSURANCE
Due to our packages are not covered with insurance, so we suggest you to take out your own insurance to cover yourself and to cover importance goods such as camera and others. We highly recommend that you have to purchase your own travel insurance, prior to trip departure. BIWA TOUR is not responsible for travelers who do not carry travel’s insurance.


LIABILITY
We acts as intermediary for transport carriers, accommodation, restaurant and other component that use during the program, assumes no responsible for any delay, change of schedules, Canceled flight, miss flight connections, loss, damage, injury, theft, accident, and irregularity. Luggage allowances in several aircraf such as Kalstar Aviation Balikpapan- Berau & Pangkalan Bun, Trigana Air, Jayapura to Wamea and small distrik in Papua only 10 Kg and Jet plane will be 20 Kg. Due to all causes beyond the programs, we reserve the right, without penalty, to alter itineraries or program.
