Bali and Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF) 2019 returns for the sixth year June 25-29, 2019 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC).

Organized by the Bali Chapter of the Indonesian Association of Travel Agents (ASITA-Bali), this year’s event has adopted the theme of “Journey to Sustainable Tourism" reflecting the desire of the Indonesian tourism industry to preserve and protect its unique cultures and natural environment.

The Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre (BNDCC) remains the venue for BBTF 2019 located within Bali’s world-renowned Nusa Dua Complex operated by the Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) on the southernmost tip of the island of Bali. In addition to being home to the BNDCC, the ITDC Complex is also host to some 5,000 starred hotel rooms; a wide-range of dining, shopping and entertainment venues; and a championship 18-hole golf-course – all scattered along a pristine white-sand beach.

In keeping with past editions of the Bali and Beyond Travel Fair, the event is intended to truly promote “Bali and Beyond” with destinations, Indonesian provinces, and travel products from areas outside Bali joining the increasingly popular B2B tourism promotional event.

Like last year’s successful event, BBTF 2019 is on target to attract over 200 sellers with the closing deadline falling on May 8, 2019. Meanwhile, sellers are registering at a record pace with some 300 buyers expected to register. 250 buyers from 52 countries are already in hand with one month remaining before BBTF 2019’s start. Buyers for BBTF 2019 predominately hale from Europe with 30 UK buyers already registered, followed by France, the Netherlands, Italy, German, as well as Eastern European markets such as Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria, and Russia.

Qualified buyers are being lured with incentives that include subsidized air fares, four nights complimentary accommodation including daily breakfast, hosted receptions and selected meals, and special price offers on an exciting range of pre and post fair familiarization trips in Bali and destinations beyond the popular holiday island.

The 6th event of its kind – BBTF 2019 is supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism that continues to work hand in hand with BBTF in order to meet national tourism targets. A gala welcoming dinner will open the event on the evening of Wednesday, June 26, 2019 with an equally festive farewell dinner hosted by the Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) slated for Friday evening, June 28, 2019. Joining as sponsors of BBTF 2019 are the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), INDONOMO, and Starbuck Coffee.
